How It Works
A clear virtual process that begins with Service Screening and moves forward only after fit review, acceptance, and completion of a written engagement.
Important: Do not send tax documents, Social Security numbers, ITINs, dates of birth, bank or account information, identity documents, income amounts, W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, prior-year returns, credentials, dependent information, or other sensitive information through public website forms or regular email.

Service Screening Request
Submit a basic service screening request without sensitive personal, tax, financial, banking, identity, or business documents. The form is used only to understand general needs and does not create a client relationship or guarantee acceptance.

Fit Review
Akmere reviews the request based on published service scope, complexity, documentation quality, timing, capacity, and overall fit with the service model. Akmere may accept, decline, request clarification, place the request on hold, or suggest another resource.

Written Engagement
Services begin only after Akmere accepts the engagement and the required written engagement is completed. The engagement defines the accepted services, responsibilities, terms, limitations, fees, and applicable next steps.

Secure Document Exchange
After acceptance and completion of the written engagement, Akmere provides engagement-specific instructions for submitting sensitive tax, financial, identity, business, and supporting documents through an approved secure method. Different services may use different approved processes.

Service Work
Akmere performs only the services accepted under the written engagement, which may include Tax Preparation, Limited Bookkeeping & Financial Records Support, Personal Budget Support, Records Organization, Business Plan Document Support, or Limited Small-Business Administrative Support.

Review & Delivery
Completed work is reviewed and delivered according to the accepted scope. For tax-preparation engagements, clients review the return, address remaining questions, and complete the required authorization before electronic filing. Final materials are delivered through the approved method for the engagement.
